Anniversary ni Fr. Jojo at Fr. Pong nung Sept. 29, 2007. Anim na taon na silang pari. Dahil Sabado, maraming appointment, hindi kami nakalabas para mag-celebrate. We had the celebration last night somewhere in the Scout area. Happy anniversary sa dalawa!
Anyway, at around 7:30 PM we startedt to arrive at Ate Ria's house. The table was set and the TV was on. It was TV Patrol. We started to take the soup while Korina, Henry and Ces was sharing us the news of the day. The soup was mushroom, corn and poatatoe I think. It was good. For appetizer there were cheese, french bread, and ham. The main course was steak, fish fillet, sauted veggies, mashed potatoes and pasta. While goint through the steak, Kokey was on TV. He was with his mother Kakay [funny name] and they were in disguise trying to run away from the police [I think]. Then, it was Mars Ravelo's Lastikaman. The boy Lastikman was trying to meet his dream girl when he had to fight the fetus-like monster who killed his victims with Freddie-Kooger-like claws. While his father looked for his lost mother named Ruth Abelgas [a combination of Ruth Cabal and Gas Abelgas, funny]. After the steak, the fish fillet and the mashed potatoe, there was stil room for a little pasta. Then, it was Ysabella [or was it Natutulog ba ang Diyos?], I am not sure anymore what came first, but Judy Ann was ranting about a secret recipe being stolen that she wanted to reveal, or something like that. After the pasta was dessert, coffee and tea for some, red wine, but for me it's cold water. Then, it's Dina Bonnavie, getting 10 Million from the bank to give as ransom for Roxanne Ginoo who was kidnapped by whom she considered as her father, who seemed to be the driver of Dina and Matranillo, who is supposed to be the real parents of Roxanne [ang gulo!]. Then, it's Bandila. Huh! 11:00 PM na! Nagsimula kami sa balita, inabot na kami ulit ng balita. Four and a half hours of telenovelas and teleseryes. This is first time for me. Only to realize later that this happens in countless of homes every night.
