Yet I consider life of no importance to me,
if only I may finish my course
and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus,
to bear witness to the Gospel of God’s grace.

Even in the face of imprisonment, persecution and death, St. Paul wanted to finish until the end the mission that Jesus entrusted to him. Jesus remained faithful until the end, and so St. Paul wanted to do the same.
May we have St. Paul's perseverance and not lose hope in the face of challenges and trials.
